Job Description: Amazon Operation Assistant
The Operation Assistant is a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our Fulfillment Centers (FCs). Our FCs are bustling hubs where a variety of manual and technological processes come together to get orders to customers efficiently. As an Operation Assistant, you will mentor and guide associates to meet customer expectations while prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Management of Shift:
- Oversee and manage daily operations during assigned shifts.
- Allocate tasks to associates to ensure optimal workflow.
- Monitor the performance of associates and provide mentorship to improve productivity and quality.
2. Productivity and Quality Assurance:
- Monitor counts and resolve problems in queues effectively.
- Implement and track quality improvement plans.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and work practices.
3. Training and Development:
- Develop and implement training programs for associates.
- Mentor associates on best practices to meet Amazon’s high standards.
4. Workplace Safety:
- Conduct 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) and 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) audits regularly.
